Fluid Path

The Disposable Set has a sterile fluid path which connects directly to fluid bags and contains components necessary to pump and warm the infusate. And, it interfaces directly with temperature, air and pressure sensors in the Control System.

When pumping, fluid flows from the filtered reservoir.
Fluid flows over the roller pump and past the inlet temperature probe in the heat exchanger which warms fluid to the physic logical temperature. Fluid exits the top of the heat exchanger and passes a second temperature probe, a pressure sensor, and an air detector before.
Fluid passes into the patient.
